You will need to open Photoshop Elements and do this tutorial...
- Open Photoshop Elements from the Module Desktop Shortcuts
- Open "Activity 5 Instascrap" into PhotoShop Elements from the ( All Module Folders / Digital Scrapbooking Folder / Tutorial & Activity Files Folder)
- Go to File and Choose "Save As"
- Select the module desktop shortcuts and then select the # digital scrapbooking Folder
- Type in your TechLab # and your last name and Activity 5 Instascrap [ex. 1945MaguireActivity 5 Instascrap]
- choose the save as file type Photoshop File ".PSD"
- With the "Activity 5 instascrap" picture on one layer - Right Mouse Click on the background layer and choose duplicate layer
- click on the eyeball next to the background layer to turn that layer off leaving the background copy layer eyeball showing
- Use the Magic Wand and select the white picture area.
- press delete on the keyboard - this makes the white area now transparent ( Use Ctrl+D to deselect the previous selection)
- repeat for the other two white squares.
- Open the Picture "Activity 5 People1" from the (Digital Scrapbooking Folder / Tutorial & Activity Files Folder)
- Copy and Paste that picture into a new layer -

NOTE: Copy paste into (Ctrl+A is select all & Ctrl+C is copy & Ctrl+V is paste)
- Paste into a new layer "Activity 5 People1" the picture
- Resize and position the picture on top of one of the boxes
- next drag the new layer below your background copy layer (Make sure put it behind the background copy picture layer)
- open "Activity 5 People2" and repeat the process as in picture 1
- open "Activity 5 People3" and repeat the process as in picture 1 & 2
- At the top of the instascrap: use the Text tool to insert a TITLE and YOUR NAMES to the layout.
- Save your file as a ( .PSD ) and as a ( .JPG )
- - Use as a file name "(your TechLab number) Your LastName Activity 5 Instascrap" [ex. 1945MaguireActivity 5 Instascrap]
- - Save this file in the [Module# digital scrapbooking folder] located inside your Module desktop Shortcuts Folder (ex. 14 Digital Scrapbooking)
RUBRIC:
* Background layer copied
* White picture area deleted
* 3 Picture layers below/behind instascrap background layer
* 3 different pictures added
* Pictures Rotated to align with instascrap
* Text tool used to add title and names at top
