* Activity#8(Templates):

  1. Open Photoshop Elements from the Module Desktop Shortcuts
  2. Open "Activity 8 Template" into PhotoShop Elements from the ( All Module Folders / Digital Scrapbooking Folder / Tutorial & Activity Files Folder)
  3. Go to File and Choose "Save As"
  4. Select the module desktop shortcuts and then select the # digital scrapbooking Folder
  5. Type in your TechLab # and Your last name and Activity 8 Templates [ex. 1945MaguireActivity 8 Templates]
  6. check that the File format says: [ Format: Photoshop (*.PSD,*.PDD) ]
  7. Now with your copy of the "Activity 8 Template" open
  8. Click on and highlight the layer labeled Bottom
  9. Go to File and open "Activity 8 Paper1" from the ( All Module Folders / Digital Scrapbooking Folder / Tutorial & Activity Files Folder)
  10. Select all and copy this paper into your activity 8 template project. When you paste it it should put it on it's own layer.
  11. Make sure that that new layer is just above the BOTTOM layer. You might need to click and drag it higher or lower.
  12. You will now click on the paper you just inserted and you can change it's position and size using the "Move Tool" It might look ok as it is.
  13. You will now connect that paper with the bottom layer. To do this you will need to hold down the ALT key as you put your cursor between the new layer and the bottom layer (This is called LayerClipping. Click here for How to and Info.)
  14. Your paper is now connected with the bottom Layer
  15. Go to File and open "Activity 8 Paper2" from the ( All Module Folders / Digital Scrapbooking Folder / Tutorial & Activity Files Folder)
  16. Select all and copy this paper into your activity 8 template project. When you paste it it should put it on it's own layer.
  17. Make sure that that new layer is just above the TOP layer. You might need to click and drag it higher or lower.
  18. You will now click on the paper you just inserted and you can change it's position and size using the "Move Tool" It might look ok as it is.
  19. You will now connect that paper with the TOP layer. To do this you will need to hold down the ALT key as you put your cursor between the new layer and the TOP layer (This is called LayerClipping. Click here for How to and Info.)
  20. Your paper is now connected with the TOP Layer
  21. Repeat this process for the Right Circle layer using "Activity 8 Paper3" make sure the paper is above the right circle layer.
  22. double click into insert text here and add your names.
  23. Save your project. Save it as a (.PSD) & (.JPG) - Use your TechLab # and Your last name and Activity 8 Templates [ex. 1945MaguireActivity 8 Templates]
