Part A: Viewing the files you will work with - Do this before you make your layout in part B

You will be opening a folder that contains items that work well together in a layout. These are called kits. There are several kits to choose from. Please chose one.

First open:
- module desktop shortcuts and then ALL MODULES Folder and then Digital Scrapbooking Folder and then Files Folder and then Kits Folder

It should look like this!!! ( You may need to change the View to Thumbnails)

This is the view inside a Kit Folder... It includes Papers & Embellishments

Part B: Creating the layout with the files - Now Open Elements and MAke It!

1. Open Photoshop Elements from the Module Desktop Shortcuts
2. Create a New Photoshop Blank Working Document
   .
3. Open into PhotoShop Elements (Bottom)from the ( All Module Folders / Digital Scrapbooking Folder / Files / Kits )
4. Open The Folder for the kit you choose in Part A
5. Create a layout using the components in the kit (Papers, Ribbons, Etc.) You will NOT be using a template!
6. Save your project. As Both a (.PSD) & (.JPG)

   - - - - - Use as a file name "(your TechLab number) Your LastName Activity 9 Kit Layout1" [ex. 1945MaguireActivity 9 Kit Layout1]
   - - - - - Save this file in the [Module# digital scrapbooking folder] located inside your Module desktop Shortcuts Folder (ex. 14 Digital Scrapbooking)
